Hi, I\u2019m Gini. Somehow, you\u2019ve found your way onto my little corner of the internet: Gini’s Side Of Things. Welcome! I\u2019m really glad you\u2019re here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You might be wondering why I decided to start this blog all of a sudden.
The short answer? I suddenly found myself with a lot more free time than expected.
The longer answer? Well, that\u2019s a bit more personal. After a rough couple of months, I\u2019m slowly starting to feel my creativity (and honestly, my spirit) coming back to life. And when that spark returned, writing felt like the most natural way of keeping it alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve always had a sweet spot for storytelling and sharing thoughts. At my core, I\u2019m a fangirl through and through. Sports, shows, movies, music, travel: if there\u2019s something to get emotionally invested in, I\u2019m probably already there.  I tend to fall deeply for the things that I love, and for a long time, I searched for a space that could hold all of those interests at once. A place where curiosity, personal perspective, and fangirling could not only coexist but also fuel one another. When I couldn\u2019t quite find it, I decided to create my own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s what this blog is: my side of things.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To set expectations: I\u2019m not a journalist (nor do I try to be one), and I don\u2019t even claim to be a good writer. I also don\u2019t claim to have answers for every thought. This blog simply started because it felt fun. Honest. Like something worth trying. And that feeling, the excitement of creating just for the sake of creating, was something I hadn\u2019t experienced in a very long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Writing things down has always helped me make sense of the world. Getting ideas out of my head, sorting them into different boxes, building my own little theories and connections, that\u2019s what gives me joy.  This blog is an extension of that habit, just shared with anyone who might relate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What You Can Expect<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

What you can expect here, though, is a mix of things that genuinely excite me: previews, reviews, recommendations, opinions, and probably a fair amount of overthinking. You\u2019ll find deep dives into sports, shows, movies, music, and travel, along with fangirl moments, personal perspectives, and hopefully the beginnings of a cozy growing community!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
